Hello everyone! Samantha Golden here with an array of graphical solutions, digital specialties, and project management skills.  I’m currently based in the Indianapolis area where I’ve found opportunities to grow within a corporate role in the academic healthcare and marketing setting.  Within this role, I've led and developed digital and tangible solutions for stakeholders across the state to realistically execute culture shifts that put patients, families, and team members at the core of experience.  These projects ranged from customer journey maps to educational workshops and courses that used a Design Thinking approach.  My ultimate goal is to make things easy for my end users by providing streamlined tools and resources that they can effectively use for themselves and help others utilize.  How do you encourage them to use what you develop? You create relatable stories with graphics and illustrative visuals that bring your audience back to their empathy and human experiences. This connection goes a long way.
Did someone say stories and illustrative visuals? Oh yes. That was me! As a kid who grew up with Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks, I knew I wanted to create illustrations and characters with stories that others could easily relate with. There is a human connection with visual stories that you just don't get from a wordy PowerPoint slide deck.  I watched animated films, played video games with heavy story and character development, and constantly learned from them.  This practically shaped me as a person who appreciates people, animals, nature, traveling, and new experiences that I can share with others.
Overall,  I am very easy to work with and take great pleasure in solving the problems of the world one story, illustration, design, and educational workshop at a time!
